GBTA Convention 2017 Coming to Boston

Convention Registration is Officially Open

Alexandria, VA (December 14, 2016) – The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the voice of the business travel industry, is pleased to announce the launch of registration for GBTA Convention 2017. The largest, most comprehensive annual gathering of business travel and meetings managers, meeting planners, procurement professionals and suppliers in the world, next year’s Convention will be held in Boston, July 15-19, 2017.

GBTA Convention 2017 marks the 49th edition of The Business Travel Event of the Year® and our theme, Convergence, was developed to address the latest trends, issues and guidelines that have emerged as the business travel industry has evolved.

“In today’s constantly evolving business travel industry, business travelers are driven by the need for mobility in a fast-paced environment, the desire for a more personalized travel experience, and the risks associated with the current technological, environmental and geopolitical landscape,” said Michael W. McCormick. “As these new elements of travel converge, new hurdles and opportunities for travel professionals are surfacing and GBTA Convention 2017 attendees will have a front row seat for discussions on the latest industry hot topics and solutions.”

Held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, GBTA Convention 2017 will bring together nearly 7,000 business travel professionals from more than 50 countries across the globe. It will feature world-class keynote speakers, more than 80 industry-leading education sessions, the largest business travel expo floor, a wide selection of professional development opportunities and much more, providing attendees the opportunity for professional development and to get business done.

Attendee registration is open now. Register by January 17, 2017 to receive early bird rates and up to $800 in savings. More info on programs and speakers will be unveiled throughout 2017. For the latest developments and more information, please visit gbta.org/convention.
