Ninja warrior, adventure seeker, and business traveler Nathan Burkhalter will be appearing on NBC’s heart-pounding series, American Ninja Warrior on Monday, June 20th at 7pm CST.
Loyal Business Travel Lifer, Nathan Burkhalter, has something big coming to television this summer. This corporate road warrior turned ninja warrior is appearing for his third time on NBC’s hit television show, American Ninja Warrior. As a globe-trotting engineer for ExxonMobile, Burkhalter is the perfect person to represent the business travel community in such a bold way.
American Ninja Warrior is an athletic competition series where contestants must complete increasingly challenging obstacle courses in their city qualifiers and finals in order to make it all the way to the national finals in Las Vegas. The show is a spin-off of the Japanese series, Sasuke, and the final course in Las Vegas is modeled after the Mt. Midoriyama four-stage course in Japan. The grand prize is one million dollars and of course, the title of being THE American Ninja Warrior.
Contestants must showcase their strength and stamina during these obstacle courses, in fact; only one person, Isaac Caldiero, has ever completed the final course and taken home the money. Will Mr. Burkhalter be joining the ranks with Caldiero this season? We will definitely be rooting for him!
We interviewed Burkhalter last year after he had already competed in the sixth and seventh season of the show. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it all the way, but he did finish in the top 25%, which speaks volumes to how hard he trained. Below is Burkhalter’s submission video for season 8.
