Restaurant Trends
The most expensed restaurant by business travelers in the third quarter was Starbucks, with McDonald’s coming in at number two and Panera at number three. Starbucks was the most popular choice for breakfast, while McDonald’s was the most popular for lunch and dinner. Chick-Fil-A was the top rated restaurants by business travelers in the third quarter.
Hotel Trends
Hampton Inn was the most expensed hotel with 9.2% of all lodging expenses. Marriott came in behind Hampton Inn with 8.18% of lodging expenses and in third was Courtyard by Marriott. The highest rated hotel was Hyatt.
Car Rental Trends
National Car Rental was the most expensed car rental company with 27.22% of all rental expenses. The second most expensed was Enterprise with 15.82% and in third was Hertz. National Car Rental was also the highest rated rental car company.
Airline Trends
Delta was the most expensed airline with 20.98% of all airline expenses. American Airlines was the second most expenses airline at 16.95% and Southwest was third at 15.37%. Southwest, Alaska Airlines and Jet Blue tied with a 4.3 rating out of 5 for the highest rated third quarter airline.
